The certification process for the American Board of Prosthodontics Examination has been modified. Effective October 22, 2025, the examination process will include an alternate pathway for certification for the coming year (2026), the Oral Certifying Examination.

The two main changes to the process:

To be eligible for this exam, successfully completion of the Qualifying Exam and an advanced prosthodontics program (CODA accredited) is required.

Full information, as well as a complete set of new guidlines for these exams may be found on the ABP website. We invite you to review these guidelines and plan to register for these exams in the future, if needed.
