Application Procedures 

All applications and required documentation are submitted online at the link below:

Postgraduate Students/Residents 

• Application can occur in the third year of training. 
• Candidate may challenge:
  • any one part (2, 3, or 4) of the Section B examination or the Section D examination, and/or
  • the Section A examination. 
• As part of the online application, the candidate must upload a letter (PDF on program/university letterhead) from their postgraduate Program Director that indicates the:
  • Candidate is in the third year of training.
  • Candidate is in good academic standing.
  • Expected date of graduation for the candidate.
• Appropriate fees must accompany online applications.

Prosthodontists

• Candidacy can be established any time, by formal application, after completion of an advanced specialty education program. 
• Candidate may challenge Section A, B, C, or D exams any time after establishing candidacy. 
• As part of the online application, the candidate must send a notarized copy of their prosthodontics certificate to exams@abpros.org.
• Appropriate fees must accompany online applications.
